In short

The site carries no advertising, sets no cookies, and uses no third-party tracking such as Google Analytics or the Facebook pixel. Visit measurement runs on our own server. Browsing asks for no name, email or location, and no account is needed.

What the site collects

Your browser’s local storage holds a randomly generated visitor number. It has no link to your identity and its only job is to avoid counting one visit twice. Since no cookie is set, it does not travel to other sites.

Each page view records the path of the page you opened (for example /en/ingredients/glycerin). The query part of the address is not included.

What you type into the site search box is recorded together with how many results it returned, truncated to the first 64 characters. The purpose is to see which ingredients people look for and fail to find. Do not type personal information into it: it is an ingredient search box, not a form.

The page language and the identity of the content you open (a product or ingredient) are also recorded.

What it does not collect

Your name, email address, phone number and location are not collected while you browse. No country or city is derived from your IP address, and none is matched to your visitor number.

Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertising networks.

Where the data sits

The site and its measurement data are hosted on our own server in Germany. Cloudflare sits in front of the domain, which means connection information (including your IP) passes through that service, as it does on any web request.

Fonts and images are served from our own infrastructure; opening a page does not connect your browser to advertising or tracking networks.

How to delete the record

Clearing site data in your browser is enough. The visitor number is deleted and cannot be matched again, because no other record points that number back to you.

The phone app

The app processes more: account details if you sign in, information you provide with explicit consent such as allergies or pregnancy, the product photos you scan, and your scan history. The app’s full privacy policy is published separately, and that is the address declared on its Google Play listing.

You can permanently delete your app account and everything tied to it from inside the app.

Your rights

Under GDPR and Turkey’s KVKK you have the right to access, correct and erase your data, and to object to its processing. Write to hellothere@arinsafe.com.

If this page changes, the updated date below changes with it. Any substantive change to how measurement works will be stated here plainly.
