Details

A surfactant used as a foaming agent, softener, and cleanser in detergents, shampoos, and skin cleansers. It can dry out the skin and cause irritation in those with sensitivities; therefore, intensive use may damage the skin barrier. High concentrations irritate the skin, while normal amounts do not cause issues during cleansing. You may see it on the label as 'Laureth-9' or 'Polidocanol'.
