Details
A detergent-type compound with a white, waxy structure that adds softness to hair products. It is naturally derived from coconut oil but used in a processed state. While skin contact is harmless during normal use, because it increases foaming, excessive use can cause dryness and brittleness. Its full name is seen on the label; it is more commonly found in formulas targeting water-resistant hair.
